# Terms of use

fleeTau is software a vehicle rental fleet uses to manage vehicles, drivers, and money. This page describes what we agree on when a fleet starts using it. It is written in plain language: shorter than a typical contract and with no fine print.

## Who the parties are

The service is run by Evgeniy Achin, hello@fleetau.com — "we" from here on. No legal entity is registered yet; its registration details will appear here as soon as it is created, and we will separately notify every fleet about it. The client is a fleet: the company or entrepreneur that registered the fleet in the service — "you" from here on.

Drivers and partners who own vehicles use their workspaces at the fleet's invitation. Their relationship with the fleet — rental, payouts, disputes — remains a relationship with the fleet: we provide the tool, we do not take part in the deal.

## What fleeTau is and what it is not

fleeTau is the fleet workspace: vehicles and their document expiry dates, drivers and rental agreements, handover and return with photo records, rent charging, the cash desk, traffic fines, and the driver and partner workspaces.

We are not a taxi fleet, not a car rental company, and not a ride-hailing platform: we do not rent out vehicles ourselves and we do not distribute orders. We are not a payment intermediary: drivers' rental payments never reach our accounts — the driver pays the fleet, and the fleet records the payment in the system.

## Registration and roles

A fleet registers on its own; no bank card is needed for that. You assign the roles to your staff — who hands over vehicles, who accepts money. Operations in the service are recorded with their author: it is visible who handed over a vehicle, who recorded a payment, who made the decision on a deposit.

You are responsible for whom you grant access to. We are responsible for access working exactly as described: a driver does not see the fleet's economics, a partner does not see drivers' personal data, a neighboring fleet does not see you.

## Pricing and payment

The fee is calculated for active vehicles at the rates published on the site. An active vehicle is one actually handed over to a driver in the billing month — not one with the right status set: a vehicle under repair or standing idle costs you nothing.

The first three vehicles are free on any plan. A partial month is billed by the day: a vehicle added on the twenty-fifth is billed for six days, not for the month.

Wherever card payment appears in the service, the card is entered on the payment provider's page. The card number never reaches our services and never appears in our logs.

## Your data remains yours

Export of all data — vehicles, agreements, payments, inspection photos — is available at any time.

If you stop paying, access switches to read-and-export mode instead of being cut off. You can always leave together with your data: what should retain a client is the product, not the impossibility of leaving.

How we handle personal data — of your staff, drivers, and partners — is described on the "Personal data processing" page. It is part of these terms.

## What we promise and what we do not

We build the service so that a defect in it cannot cost you money unnoticed: amounts are stored exactly, money records are never rewritten retroactively, and disputed operations rest on photos and the journal, not on the parties' memory.

We do not promise error-free operation — no such software exists. We promise something else: to speak about problems directly, to fix them quickly, and not to lose your data. The service is built and maintained by the founder with a team of AI agents; he personally answers letters to hello@fleetau.com.

## Changes to the terms

The text on this page may change together with the product. Material changes — those affecting the price or your rights to your data — are never made silently: we announce them in advance and explicitly, rather than changing the page in silence.

## Status of this document

This text was written by the operator of the service — in the same language the product speaks to you in the workspace. We believe that an accurate description of how the service actually works is more useful than eight pages of boilerplate nobody reads.

The document acquires the legal force of a contract after review by a lawyer. Until then it remains an honest description of how the service works, and in the event of any discrepancy, a direct agreement between us and you takes priority.

Questions

## What people usually ask

### What happens if I stop paying?

Access switches to read-and-export mode instead of being cut off. All data — vehicles, agreements, payments, inspection photos — can be exported even after payment stops. We do not hold data hostage.

### Do you take my drivers' money?

No. The driver pays the fleet directly — in cash or by transfer — and the fleet records the payment in the system. Rental money does not pass through our accounts, and card data does not pass through our services either.

### Can I leave and take all my data?

Yes, at any time. The export is complete, including inspection photos. We deliberately build no lock made of your data.

### Whom am I talking to when I write to you?

The founder. fleeTau is a company of one person and a team of AI agents, so hello@fleetau.com is answered by the person who makes the decisions, not by a support queue.

## Questions about the terms remain?

Write to hello@fleetau.com — the founder answers. If any part seems murky, say so directly: we rewrite murky parts.
